Travel Warnings


There is a travel warning for traveling to Thailand. Flooding has been a problem for a number of provinces. Protests against the government are also been an issue and this has led to injuries and deaths of several people. Other then flooding and protest being an issue another issues is petty crime, such as theft. Theft has also been reported by foreigners in Thailand.  All travelers should know wear their personal belongings are at all time and make sure that they are secure.  Scams are common in Thailand and you should always be careful of who you make purchases or agreements with. If you are a victim of a scam you should call the tourist police at 1155. If you get into any other legal trouble you should contact the Canadian embassy.
